Medsense Health has completed a direct integration with Liberty Software, connecting our clinical services platform to one of the most widely used pharmacy management systems among independent pharmacies in the United States. The integration is available now, at no charge, to any pharmacy running Liberty Software.
What the Integration Does
Until now, pharmacies using Liberty Software that wanted to offer Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) or Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs had to manage patient identification manually: pulling records, cross-referencing eligibility, and coordinating enrollment outside their existing workflow. That friction alone is enough to stall many programs before they start.
The integration removes that friction.
Eligible patients are now surfaced automatically from Liberty Software. Enrollment into Medsense's RTM and RPM programs flows from the pharmacy's existing system, without requiring staff to operate a parallel workflow or log into a separate platform to identify candidates.
From candidate discovery to eligibility check to patient outreach, the process happens in the background — handled by Medsense's clinical operations team, triggered by the data Liberty already holds.
Programs Available Through the Integration
Liberty Software pharmacies can activate two programs through the integration:
Medication Adherence (RTM) — Smart sensors attach to pill bottles or containers and capture medication activity through a cellular hub. No Wi-Fi or patient setup required. Pharmacies gain real-time visibility into adherence patterns, with reminders delivered to patients by text, phone, or app. Data supports ongoing adherence reviews, counseling, and intervention.
Hypertension Monitoring (RPM) — Patients use a cellular-connected monitor and cuff to take at-home blood pressure readings, which are transmitted automatically. No manual logging. No smartphone required. Readings flow into the pharmacy's monitoring dashboard for clinical review and follow-up. Blood pressure readings are also available to the patient in an optional app.
Both programs use Medsense's flat-fee model: pharmacies receive $25 per enrolled patient, per month, per program, regardless of payer claim outcome. In return, a staff pharmacist must conduct a brief monthly clinical check-in.
Getting Started
Existing Medsense customers using Liberty Software can activate the integration directly within their account. New pharmacies can schedule a demo at medsense.health to learn how the integration works with their current setup.
“We built this integration to get pharmacy staff out of the middle of a process that should run itself. The clinical infrastructure is already there — the data is already in Liberty. This closes the gap between what independent pharmacies have and what they need to start generating clinical revenue.”
